Reaching More Mortgage-Ready Millennials
Thursday, June 7 at 1 p.m.
Hosted by the National Association of Local Housing Finance Agencies (NALHFA)
While research on millennials is pouring in, many buyers remain sidelined. We’ll take a look at how many millennials are actually mortgage ready today and, furthermore, how many could qualify for a homeownership program available in their market.
Our speakers will review data and insights from two key reports: The Barriers to Homeownership research report and interactive map by the Urban Institute, and an analysis of mortgage-ready millennials by Freddie Mac and Down Payment Resource. The speakers will review recommendations for increasing the visibility of down payment programs, as well as national homeownership program trends, effective program examples, and insight from HFAs and participating lenders.
